Aeropuertos Argentina: ISO 50001 pre-certification internal audits at 4 terminals
In 2026 we audited the energy management systems of Aeroparque, San Fernando, Córdoba and San Juan, which then achieved certification.
The starting point
In 2026, before facing the certification audit of its energy management system, Aeropuertos Argentina wanted to know how prepared each airport was against the requirements of ISO 50001.
What we did
- We carried out the pre-certification internal audit at the Aeroparque, San Fernando, Córdoba and San Juan terminals.
- We reviewed processes, records, energy performance indicators and controls against each requirement of the standard.
- We reported findings and nonconformities, with the actions needed to achieve certification.
The result
Four terminals with a clear diagnosis of their energy management system and an action plan to close the gaps. Building on that, all four terminals then achieved ISO 50001 certification.
