Success story
PERMER Program: installation of solar systems at 35 rural schools
Between 2019 and 2021 we designed and installed off-grid PV systems for schools in Neuquén and Río Negro without access to the power grid.
The starting point
The Renewable Energy in Rural Markets Project (PERMER) brings energy to communities and facilities far from the power grid. In Neuquén and Río Negro, the target was rural schools.
What we did
- We designed off-grid solar PV systems with battery storage, sized for each school’s consumption.
- Between 2019 and 2021 we installed and commissioned the 35 systems, at hard-to-reach sites with demanding weather conditions.
The result
35 rural schools in Neuquén and Río Negro with their own power for lighting and equipment, generated on site.
Need power where the grid doesn’t reach?
We design and install off-grid solar systems, with or without batteries, tailored to each load.
