The starting point
Pilquiniyeu del Limay is an isolated town on the Línea Sur of Río Negro. It needed electricity and a reliable way to pump water. The Province of Río Negro, through Transcomahue S.A., commissioned Grupo Nabla to carry out the project.
What we did
- We designed and installed a 36 kWp solar PV system to supply the town with electricity.
- We added a 5 kWp solar pumping system that uses the sun’s energy to extract and lift water without relying on fuel.
The result
The town has electricity and water pumping powered by solar energy, generated on site.
